Picked up a small batch of fairly common insulators yesterday that a gentlemen had picked when they were wrecking out an old line about 30 years ago in Eastern Montana. Among the glass was a clear CD 154 Hemingray that has Hemingray-42 on the front and Made in U.S.A. on the back over numbers and dots (manufactured in 1955). Funny thing is the skirt, while being the same diameter and with fully formed round drips is 3/16 of an inch shorter than it's older cousins. From the WG up they are the same and the skirt has the same arc as the older ones but just ends sooner. It's a definite eye-catcher.

I haven't seen this before. Have any Hemi specialists or anyone else seen this. Couldn't find info on ICON about this so thought I'd throw it out there. Turned a drab bunch of glass into something unusual. Thanks.
