Chillcothe, OH c.1915 Tall Utility Poles, Globe Street Light

Not sure what kind of openwire was carried upon the pole lines strung along each side of this community's downtown centre. However we see a globe street light of the pendant style that once illuminated one of this town's intersections. Also note the guy-wire insulator that electrically insulated the fixture from its span-wire (right above the fixture). High voltage circuits were often utilized for street lighting loops in their early days and insulators mounted integral and/or above them (as seen) were the rule for safety and adequate insulation.
