I figured I'd ruin my reputation as a mud guy if I didn't list at least one porcelain insulator. Here's a pretty decent example of a U-199A unmarked Thomas. These were used in the Buffalo, NY area on communication lines. This piece is dry process, and has the typical reddish brown glaze of most Thomas pieces. There is a flat 5/8" flake under the umbrella(see pic), and a smaller nick to the left of that. Overall in pretty good shape. I'd like to get $15.00 plus actual postage for this early transposition. Thanks! |
