The carnival glass sure got their attention. They were amazed I had orange insulators. I tried to explain that in the hobby they are called Carnival glass, but they preferred orange. So, orange it was. Today was their day.

I was slightly over dressed, as we were shrouded in fog until 5 minutes before the school bus arrived. The fog lifted, and the hot sun came out. We went from 43 F to 68 degrees in about 10 minutes.

The kids were fantastic. Lots of questions, very attentive, and we all got to sing, M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E when I showed them a CD 257. But if that is called a Mickey mouse, why do you call that little one a Pony ? They had me there. Isn't it time for cookies and juice?

Their teacher Mrs Kanigan is on the left.
