This is a vintage glass insulator used in an early neon sign. Not quite sure of the maker, there is some light embossing on the side of the neck, but can't make it out. This piece would have fed the gas-filled glass tubing out toward the front of the sign. It has a threadless base with a lip that would have held it in place and prevented it from slipping through. A fascinating go-with, with all sorts of bits of the original hardware still attached. Overall, the condition is GREAT!! How about $5 + shipping? PayPal preferred, money order and check OK too.
