While out meatl detecting- I found 52 assorted coins on one side of a small 5" white pine. Coins from Canada, Mexico, Austrailia, India, Rosevelt centential coin in plastic case, 2 dollar and one dollar canadian coins, and coins I could not identify. It was just not a regular insulator digging trip. They were buried about 2 inches in the forest and not in any container, just in about a 12"x 12" spot.. Not a coin man, but they were neat to find.
