Found the CD 104's and CD 102 pony in the same booth that I look through every stop I make at one particular anitque shop. Guess if a seller knows someone will buy they are more likely to bring in more they have around. The CD 145 creb was in another shop in the same mall. Haven't found any there in a few years. This one has a large reverse #7 under a messed up #6 on front crown. I've seen these before or maybe even had one that is long gone so this one will fit in which my start over collection of creb beehives. Although I like all the ones I have in that collection I'd still would have rather had all I found while hunting the wilds. The 104's shown will fit in nicely as well in my sub collection of that CD number. Still haven't found any that were made in the same mold with these. However, with the Brookie's I just gave a home I can sort of figure out which New Eng Tel & Tel's were made by Brookfield. If anyone knows who made 104's besides Brookfield I would love to hear from you with that invormation. Thanks. Went on this hunt on the spur of the moment and figured the 40 plus mile trip could be a waste of time but one never knows. Fortunately I didn't return home empty handed on account of the before mentioned insulators. An added bonus was another lead I made while venturing even further away. Will check that out this coming Saturday after I drop the wife and children off at theirtype of mall. This afternoon however I will follow up another lead I made just this morning while going for a supply of coffee and other products needed for the home. Ran into a friend that owns a local antique shop I visit frequently. Said he found a bunch he had hidden away because of the color blue they were. Time will tell all the shade. See you all soon. Same time, same channel!! |
