Province not known but I suspect Quebec. One can imagine all of those nice purple Canadian insulators sparking in the sun along this unpaved road ;-) With all of the "color" that was readily visible everywhere in North America on overhead utility lines I often wonder if there were insulator collectors a century or so ago?
