This image was forwarded to me some time ago. I am not sure by whom however I have it on file, so I am sharing it with you although it's probably been seen elsewhere. Illustrated is a nice view of a telegraph pole in Richmond with two "hat" type threadless insulators upon it that survived the holocaust of Civil War destruction there.
