Note the many (faintly visible) rows of insulators mounted on the square structure in the background where individual wires were dead-ended for connections via twisted wire leading to operators within this community's central office.

Added note 10/01/13...Brent B. wrote stating that this photograph was taken in the Harrison Avenue vicinity and that it is known some INCREDIBLE glass was used right around this locale!
