Nice view of communication lines with *plenty* of insulators along each side of this stretch of railroad right-of-way ;-)

Added note (09-30-13) (Thanks, Brent!) ... this was a stretch of Northern Pacific RR main line somewhere between Vancouver and Tacoma. NPRR had their lines along one side with some telephone openwire lining the other. The latter was long gone by the 1960s. Brent added he scoured this line and found some fantastic glass along this route!

Added note (10-01-13): Brent also suggested that some of the phone openwire seen here may have coincidentally ran along a stretch of highway on the very far left. As far as good pickings went, he commented that the NPRR was among the very best insulator-hunting anywhere! Found were all kinds of Californias, Americans, Brookfields in olives and ambers, Lynchburgs, colorful "B" beehives and lots more wonderful stuff!!
