The wife suggested we go antiquing on this dark and rainy day. I was pleasantly surprised to find some interesting stuff this time out. An old cast iron clamp was too cool to pass up. At another shop I found the grey-blue unmarked signal on left. Looks like a LOCKE 44. Has a pretty, satin finish to the glaze. Next I found the white signal on the right. This one has a sheen like flat paint. I had been looking for one with this glaze for a long time after selling one about ten years ago. As I went to the register to pay, I spotted the blue pony behind the counter and asked what was going on with it. The owner said she had not decided what to ask for it. I told her I wanted it and to give me a number. She did, and I bought it. I have never seen this type of pony in a blue glaze, let alone such a bright one. Last stop gave up a tall skinny Brookfield 102 for the study. A new color for the "01/dot" shop mark.
