CD 135 [010] (Base) CHICAGO INSULATING CO./PAT OCT 16 1883. (F-Skirt) 3 glass dots in the shape of a triangle. The thick milky bubbly jade swath is obvious. To the left are faceted glass crystals that fell into the molten glass. The geometry aspect adds interest given the wire groove design. The color on this Chicago is much more of a powdery bright blue than the usual darker Brooke's blue. It borders, but not quite matches, the electric blue seen on CD 162 HG Cos. Very minor nibbles on the upper shoulder. The diamond groove is clean. The base has a few crude open bubbles from manufacture. One creates a no glass missing flat base bruise just to the right of center in the picture that runs 1 1/4 inches. Picture available upon request.
