Dan Ling and his wife traveled from western Pennsylvania to the "On Golden Pond" Pole Cat swap meet and picnic yesterday. As Dan was setting up next to me, he approached me with a clear insulator. As he got closer, he says "I found this and thought of you so I just had to bring it". I saw that is was a ultra-common CD 128 clear Pyrex piece. What kind of joke is this I am thinking? Some type of PA thing? Dan hands it to me and points out the "JR" mold letters and says "this is YOUR insulator!" I was sooooo excited - there, right on this common, worthless insulator are MY initials! Now this may not seem a lot, but it meant so much to me. And it makes this worthless insulator now priceless to me! This gets added to my long list of things that make this the greatest hobby. Many thanks to Dan for making my day - I now have another prominent display item for the shelf here at home. And no Jack Roach, Jack Riesselman, and any other 'JR's out there - you can't have it!
