As a kid I lived in Fergus for a few years in the 1980s (when it still had a railway) and I always remembered this unusual set of train tracks that ran so close to peoples homes and businesses. It travelled for several blocks and then went on downhill to the next street over and onto Wilson's Mill along the Grand River.

The CN and CP diamond in this town was also kind of weird the way it was laid out or at least in my opinion it was.
