Another goodie that I picked off Colin's 3-for-$5 table. There was some brief discussion about what the two separate ties, each with a loop at the far end, might be for. Dave Dahle solved this for us at [id=338866890] with his explanation: "This bog-common Pinco #63 has two independent ties with loops that allowed the linemen to tie the line onto the insulator with hot-line tools." My insulator and his could be the same item, except that the wires are bent a little differently! |
