Originally a 23kv to 4kv sub built in the 1920s, three of the single-ph. transformers were replaced with two 3-ph. units stepping down to 13kv when the 69kv section was added in the 1950s. This got taken taken down when the 4kv was phased out & the 23kv was reduced to serving Fire Island only. 1965.
