Within this pastoral scene are some old New England homes (a great many remain here in MA as well, I live is one of them, from c.1787). A snow-covered gooseneck incandescent street light also is seen here (on the left) mounted on a pole with other wires for electric lighting customers in this New Hampshire neighborhood. A then-new paired-cable (lead-steathed?) subscriber line is viewed on the right.
