A transmission project that began last year, but stopped for a while as some substations were rebuilt, resumed recently, so I decided to check out what was happening last Saturday after work. Here is one of my favorite towers from my childhood being replaced as the lines are being increased from 69kv to 138kv. It appears that the new tower will have a different circuit arrangement as another new substation will be built nearby.
