Here's Justin Martin with a pole top from the original Madison Line, check out the length of the Pin(28" long) as these had #1 Provos on them, this line was built right around 1899, it had a crossarm 6ft below the top of the pole with 2 #1 provos on 24" long pins, if you look in the photos Justin posted a photo in 1899 under construction [id=367714404]
