This 252 is marked Knowles and has all the characteristics of a "Pennycuick" made by American Glass Plate & Pipe Co. of the Boston area .... namely the light blue-aqua color, heavy fizz, and the sharp threads and teat at the top of the pinhole. This tall style of 252 was found around the PNW, but I never saw them in use. This one came from a Puget Power lineman's accumulation. The less fizzy version has the M&E marking and came off the Rosario Resort private system up in the islands. |
