Blue Mountain Lake, c.1940, Local Electric Lines, Americana

I do not know what state this great downtown scene was in. However within this town's center are various electric distribution lines along what looks like an incandescent George Cutter radial wave street light (made in the teens or early 20s). On top of the pole in the foreground is a distribution transformer with two lightning arrestors (the long skinny-looking things) and box-type fuse cutouts that connected to the transformer for electric customers nearby.

Also note the telephone openwire and lead-sheathed "bridle-type" beneath on the pole in the foreground with lots of old cars, vintage gas station signs, etc...all of which composed priceless street scenes like this all across America decades ago.
