I acquired an incredible, early electrical supplies catalog from the Union Electric Company of Pittsurgh, PA. The book seller said it dates from 1910, but I see no dates in it. But it is quite entertaining trying to date it. First the cover is titled: "Pittsburgh", while the front end page shows the address as "Pittsburg". This help places the date during the city spelling controversy between 1891 - 1911. The 1893 drip point patent is prominently featured on all the Hemingray catalog pages, so the catalog must be between 1893 to 1911. There are also four pages of porcelain "High Tension Insulators", which I believe to be both unipart and multipart Lima insulator products (1904 -1908). There is an interesting "Ring Top" insulator depicted, catalog no. 155, that looks sort of like U-339A but is stouter, more compact looking.

It appears I am going to have to date the catalog from the products featured in it so if someone can identify the year from a product or manufacturer, please let me know. Thanks.
