Here is a beautiful, crude CD 505 that has a lot of history written on it but they rarely surface for sale. It is my understanding that only around 200 of these were produced for a railroad in Iran that never materialized around the time of WWII. These were found stockpiled and soon made it out of the country into the hands of collectors. The script on the insulator reads "Mehr" in Farsi, the family who owned the glassworks. This insulator is just about mint and has some overpour on the mold line and the base. There is light nibbling on the base which only affects the overpour. I'm asking $85 plus shipping for this. Thanks for looking. |
