Congratulations to our recently appointed glass insulator CD (Classified Design) Number assignor who has assumed N.R. Woodward's extensive library of glass insulator history as well as Woody's criteria in identifying existing and new CD number assignments. This priceless honor was at the decision of Mr. Woodward and was finalized last year (2012) after five years consulation between these two gentlemen.

I have been corresponding with Mr. Woodward since 1967 who implemented/created the "CD" number of assigning insulator styles/designs since the 1950s.

Dario certainly will be instrumental with his donations to our hobby! He is an avid researcher (always was!) ...and with his astute intellect and vision for design, I do not think anyone could continue to "carry the torch" for our hobby better than him!
