Just an old pole hole, this was for reference. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words (even if I did post the wrong picture, twice, and the wrong caption). D'Oh!!!!! This area had three "generations" of poles during its history. Old threadless first, then early threaded glass, then in the 1970s, new poles (the ones now present) and modern glass and plastic was installed. Lines are inactive today.
