Downtown view of this community's business centre. This actually was an image taken in East Saugus (part of the same city)...about 10 miles north of Boston, MA.

A very early (1890s) open-type arc light is seen here that illuminated this square. On the left are a mix of telephone and electric lighting service poles and wires.

One can only imagine what kinds of rare Boston-area manufactured glass insulators are within view here ;-)
