It's just a great feeling having that special insulator in hand (far left) which for all the effort (buyer and seller), when you located it, were finally able to buy it then only to have it leave your state, be shipped to another buyer and you receive something else........... then shipped back to the seller and finally reshipped to you, without incident ! Well I just went through this.....which happens once in a great while to all of us. Though with me, it's always that certain piece that you're just not sure of, whether it's condition, color, or attribute and for curiosities sake just can't wait to get it in hand.......Given the title of the post, I think we all know what I'm referring to....Yes, I found an absolutely mint "dragon drip" 42 and it took better than two weeks to get it in my hands, but I'm happy to say intact and superb. It's the "Who say's a Hemi "42" can no longer get a rise out of a collector" slogan. Just ask "Bear" about that !! Bye the way, finding these without drip damage is quite difficult. I looked at Springfield, Racine and CrownPoint to no avail...... Maybe better luck this time. Looking to acquire possibly some more extreme length drip versions so drop me a line if you have one that is mint and might be a contender. Thanks Tim |
