Here's a scarce porcelain envelope holder made by Rosenthal (a German insulator manufacturer) with an underglaze decal advertising HOCHVOLTHAUS SELB. This was a special building built in 1929 for high-voltage insulator testing up to 2.2 million volts. Stamped in gold leaf on the base: Rosenthal.

Measures 4 1/8" tall by 5 5/8" wide. No chips or cracks but there is some rust staining inside the bottom of the porcelain holder. Could be displayed and used everyday on your desk at work! First email gets this unusual go-with for only $150 plus shipping. Thanks.
