This was very typical Central Maine Power Company pole line construction for many years. In fact a lot of this kind of CMP architecture lasted well into the 1990s when higher primary voltage conversions took place. Commencing soon after their debut around 1928, the utility started to use LOTS of three-skirted Lapp pintype (line-post design) insulators, all in shades of mahogany.

The company also retained a lot of their incandescent street lights like this one through the 90s, too. In fact some historic Maine communities such as Kennebunkport still have incandescent street lighting because they adore their vintage appearance by day or night...and town residents are willing to foot the bill to keep them alive and well.

Proudly sitting in front of this beachfront motel is what looks like a 1949 or 1950 Ford. Being a MoPar guy I cannot tell the difference, lol.
