I'm considering this pair of CABLE 259s an "unlisted color" that I'll call "dark green". I've consulted a couple of experts and the consensus is that these are much deeper/darker than the typical green, but don't quite have the depth of color or hint of yellow-green that is found in the typical emerald examples. Putting a price on a "tweener" color is hard. What I've done is priced these between the greens and emerald greens in the price guide. Maybe this could be considered a very good deal for someone who can fill a hole they weren't even aware of in their collection?!

This listing is for the piece indicated in the photos. The other piece is listed separately. I'll call this one factory mint - there are absolutely no surface issues with it. There is a bubble at the bottom of the front skirt that shows in the pictures but it is closed. The embossing on this one is fairly weak, but not untypical for these. There is a small but discernible amount of amber wispiness visible in the ears.
