It is believed these had a porcelain top with a glass bottom, aka to collectors as the M-2795 style. Also seen is a spanwire arc street light on the right with local electric distribution lines beneath the Locke double-circuit transmission line. In the foreground is a telegraph pole with a wooden box upon it for making dry connections to paired cable...that most likely led to a telegraph office nearby.
