We visited "Railtown 1897", at Jamestown Calif, rode the steam train and toured the historic Roundhouse and buildings. Many of the original 1897 buildings and shops were wired with glass insulators, you really had to peer deep into the rafters in places to see them. Took a few sample pictures, sorry my cheapo camera has a poor zoom and takes lousy pictures in the dark. Any rail fan traveling through central Calif should visit this place, lots of cool hardware, rust, grease, grime, and steam locomotives being refurbished.
