I was wondering if people know if both of these CD 145's were produced? The one on the left says it's style #43 and is 3" x 4" (20 ozs) ... the one on the right is style #44 and is 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" (22 ozs). Given the listing in the catalog, I assume these are offerings by Brookfield.

On the following page is a #45 "Western Union Double Petticoat, drip point" which is 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" including drip points (22 ozs)

Two pages before that is a #21 "Standard W. U. Double Petticoat" (Hemingray) which is 3 1/4" x 4 3/8" including drip points (22 ozs)

The #43 is described as "Double Petticoat" and the #44 as "Western Union Double Petticoat". Do you know which one is the CD 145 that we know today?

You have to wonder that since they are so similar, why you would purchase one over the other? Here you have your choice of 4 different CD 145's! If course the drip pointed varieties are better :)
