With the present high temperatures sweltering the USA right now I thought this snowy image would really be inviting! Here is a local electric lighting service pole. The lines upon it provided a circuit for residential customers with another (separate lines) for the series street light fixture on a gooseneck pole bracket. If you look closely you will see a "break-arm" insulator bracket on the crossarm. A wire on each end terminated the two insulators, with a wire leading each side down to the incandescent series fixture.
