No more words needed here to describe serenity and beauty this snowy New England scene gives you, with a bunch of insulators on an openwire pole in front of many of covered bridges that once stood in VT.

PS...Age and nature (ice storms, heavy snow, hurricanes, floods, high water, etc) took a lot of the original older covered bridges in VT and elsewhere here in New England to their demise, often replaced by simple, modern, open roadway bridges paved with asphalt. Cherished are those covered bridges that are remain and most are pretty well maintained (for the most part) throughout the region despite funding cuts.
