One of the coolest places on Earth, Central City, Colorado. The Colorado Central began narrow gauge operations up this unbelievably rugged canyon in the early 1870's. Purple 124.1's, as well as 124.2 and 124.3's were used on these lines. I have a nice green 124.3 from Central City, and a dark teal one from down the canyon at Blackhawk in my collection.
