The auction in Wichita was long at a bit over 6+ hours. Toss in a 2 hr break so they could sell furniture and it made for a full day. It was very exciting and I had fun. I believe I made some reasonable purchases and also let some nice pieces slip through my fingers trying to save a dollar. With over 600 pieces, I suppose that is to be expected. There were about 6-10 consistent bidders on the glass and at times, it was fast paced and back and forth. Price guides and scribbled notes were on everyone's lap or beneath their seat and bidder numbers were always at the ready. I made some new friends and those folks were helpful and friendly as this was my first auction. Everyone had an insulator business card but me...I gotta get a card! I was fortunate enough to meet the family of the collector whose glass we were bidding on. It was a pleasure to sit down with them, spend 20 minutes and learn more about this man (Duane Stucky). This was an exciting experience and I had good time. Thank you for looking...Zaph
