This has been by far my favorite porcelain insulator, U-597. One is promised and spoken for, so this will be the only other one offered. This was pulled from a few poles here in central Missouri. It has fantastic dark swirls and lots of character, while being very small in size. It is almost certainly the No. 14 Lima product offered in the 1908 Union Electric Company catalog; [id=311252263]. It is glazed inside the pinhole. If more pictures are needed, please contact me. I will offer a 7 day return on this piece, but sadly, you won't be disappointed. For size comparison, it's up against a D-512. Has an extended skirt, with a small shallow 1/8" chip to the inside of the pinhole, and a couple flakes on the underside edge of the wire ridge. Almost impossible to even see the minute damage. Asking $45, but now $34 Shipping to lower 48 should be around $9, and combine on shipping with other insulators. PayPal in gift mode, check, money order, well concealed cash. Contact at midmoac@gmail.com |
