This week a large 3 parts porcelain (second and third skirt are a single shell). This insulator was recovered from one of the few remaining lines in Italy still using large pin types, that has been dismantled recently. It is marked Richard - Ginori, made in 1940. Others insulators of this type have been found on the same line that have been manufactured in 1927. A curious feature of this insulator is the crack on top of middle shell, visible in the photo. Usually such stress cracks appear first on the top shell. [IFONA M] |
