Amber glass Armstrong CD 218, Crown Embossed Brookfield insulators, 7,800 volt General Electric porcelain box cutout, Dark Olive green CD 152 Hemingray #40, and various U-XXX insulators recently retrieved. I have a fondness for leaving the insulators in "As Found" condition. Notice the Locke high-top insulators and how the lineman tied the conductor on the bottom most flange; decreasing the insulators electrical distance. The conductor was not on any angle or strain position so I'm guessing they were careless. |
