I went back to check on the 230kv project today and saw that a lot more of the old line was wrecked. I found these at the base of one of the old towers just after the crew left for the weekend. These are all old Ohio Brass bells with the 1918 patent date. These are dated 1937, which makes them 7 years newer than the line. It might have been re insulated then as all of the old towers had this type of insulator.
