Unusual slug embossing on this EIN090 Canadian Pacific RY with Mold line over dome. It is embossed in the center of a raised round surface. Don't know if they are all like this one. Don't think so but I'm no Candian Pacific 143 expert. The color is I believe a minty green, not green aqua in my opinion anyhow. Never seen an insulator with quite the color green this one is and therefore my thinking it is mint green. Mostly sellling because I don't collect this and because of its great charector. If you are a serious CD 143 collector you will love it. Has a very generous amount of dome glass with bubbles and nice olive green thread chaser swirls that end up going down to bottom of rear skirt on the back side where there is a large external skirt flake that goes down from wire groove to base. That skirt flake is the insulators only with the exception of a minor base flake. It has excess glass that squeezed between the left side mold line at the base. The mold line over the dome can not be missed. I've uploaded the pic that shows the skirt damage. Please send for pics of the front viwe if need be. Tried to describe the other side the best I could. Asking price of $45 shipped within the lower 48 states for this rare Candian insulator. Pay Pal without fee or paper accepted as payment. Add $5 towards shipping or $50 US dollars shippied if you want me to ship to Canada. Will not be responsible if the Canadian Post lossing the package. So buy at your own risk if you want to go the cheapest shipping route. Last time I tried saving a Candian customer by shipping first class rather then priority mail I got *crewed. Have it shipped priority and I don't think the same problem will occur being it comes with tracking. Email me for a quote in that case. Don't mean to offend any of my nieghbors to the north and I will hope you can understand my outlook. It's not your fault at all your postal service is not as depenable as ours when it comes to seeing items arrive as they should. |
