I have owned dozens of the San Francisco electric trolley wooden feeder insulators over the past 30 plus years but this is my favorite of them all. It is about two thirds light or blond wood and one third deep walnut colored brown. In addition, the grain and texture of this extraordinary piece are highly visible and remarkable. It is in undamaged condition but does have the typical age fissures seen in the pics. If you've been waiting for a special specimen in this style here's your chance.
