Saturday I went further west on Rt. 23 through the Catskill Mountains further then I've ever gone before. Was a two hour trip each way driving through a winding hilly mountain highway pass. Wasn't expecting to find to much left in the basement Zaphir Shamma discovered being he went trough the several thousand insulators twice. To refresh your memory of Zaphirs basement discovery [id=370772035] .

This pic is of two Candian Pacifics CD 143's and three Brookfield CD 121 tolls. The one 143 farthest to left is mint green with some cool olive thread chasers. Also picked up a couple more green Brookfield CD 121 tolls with the five blotouts on the rear skirt to add to my specialty collection of them. Both from this pick have XO on the dome which I didn't have in that shade of green. One of these will stay and the other go just like all the rest I picked up on this hunt. Knew the majority wouldn't fit into my own collection but other Icon members would be interested as usual.

Note : I've requested that Zaphir post a few of his best finds from this basement for other Icon members to get a better look at. Being he is a relative new member he was afraid he would be viewed as a show boater. I told him I doubted whether most other members would consider that so if he uploaded pics of any he thought were especially special finds for him. Now I'm asking other members like myself that would like to see more of what he took home after his two pics to make the same request to Zaph. I'm positive he would mind an email from other members. Seemed very thrilled to me that I contacted him about his discovery and all the emails we shared since that first contact. Remember what it was like to think you were the only nut collecting insulators??
