Peter Fortier's fogbowl insulators and other porcelain goodies. Pete and several other collectors had the privilege of digging the backyard of a PG&E maintenance foreman who lived in Santa Barbara. The foreman couldn't bear to see all the insulators thrown away when his crews were upgrading/modernizing the lines, so many of them ended up in his backyard. It is a wealth of information of what was put in service in the Santa Barbara area. All of them have been recovered and are trickling into collector's hands for the first time.
