Rick advertised by email for a hunt immediately before the show, and he came up with gold! Here's his invitation:

"I'm planning to hunt the Wheaton Prairie Path on Friday around noon on my way to the Yorkville, IL show. In the past, I've found pieces of Fred Locke porcelain and pieces of CD 160s, tramps, and CD 154s but I've also found some Fred Locke pin bases. Is anyone interested in going with me?"

Well, apparently he found more than shards this time. He came back with what he said was a Fred Locke M-2332. Now, I'm not a mud guy, but he said that this was a fairly rare insulator!

The M-2332 was found on the old Elgin-Joliet Interurban line by Rick at around 2:30 p.m. Rick said, "Bob Stahr was on his way at the time and I waited for him to show before pulling it out of the ground."
