Nice find at a local auction last night. A bunch of coat hooks, a nut cracker with an 1859 patent date, a Stanley Rule & Level Co draw plane, a single speed indicator patented in 1894, neat little box with a paper label dated 1879 and a SI 155-2.250 Armstrong Whitall Tatum salesman sample. Needless to say, I was the only person in the hall that had any idea of the value of that box lot. Bidding stopped at $25!!! BTW, does anyone know much about Church's Improved Single Speed Indicator? |
