A huge dump of second generation insulators, crica 1930s and 40s with a mixture of more modern crap, was found in the woods. The original indoor substation from 1910 was demolished in the 30s or 40s and replaced by an outdoor substation. Later in the 70s or 80s the substation was again replaced by the current one. Al of the insulators from the second generation substation were dumped in the woods. the first generation insulators were dumped down a large slope, most likely there are a lot buried in the slope.

Although its busted up and from the mid to late 40s they still like their find, an ugly OB. This is one of the most whole ones found out of a few hundred. Left to right, Matt, Austin, and Seth with there OB find. Later this same day we found the original dump with loads of Thomas 2-part suspensions pieces, not a single whole one.
