I am re-listing with a photo that I feel better captures the purple hue of this piece. In most other light it is gray/silver with a hint of purple, but in the direct sun or back lit, the purple really comes out.

This cowboy really sparkles in the sun. There are a couple of rusty wire groove rubs, and the piece overall is permeated with surface annealing/cooling micro cracks. Everything feels very stable, and there is no glass missing (ie. popping). One 1/4" tall cooling crack in the base that you can feel in the inside of the skirt, but does not come through to the outer surface. Overall this is a VERY nice piece. one more thing to mention are a couple flea nibbles on the base edge, these are very light.
